The African continent for all intents and purposes is a continent of teenagers. Like the rest of Africa, youth make up the majority of the inhabitants of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Youth have been at the forefront of the Pan African movements that have rocked West Africa. Congolese youth are equally active in mobilizing their communities for lasting change in the heart of the African continent. They will share the state of the youth movement in the Congo, especially in light of the upcoming elections in December 2023.
